The only saddle I use., November 6, 2010 By Robert Sanges (Massachusetts, USA) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase Bicycle saddles are a personal thing. Everybody will not like this saddle. Probably more than 80% of cyclist will not like any saddle that someone else loves. So, any review of a saddle is very much a matter of personal taste.
I have 5 high quality bicycles in my stable and all of them have this saddle installed. I use it on my mountain bikes and road bikes. It is also on one of my girlfriend's bikes and she likes it much more than the women-specific Specialized saddle that it came with.
I can't say I've tried hundreds of saddles, but I've had my share. This one fits me perfectly and lets me sit on the bike all day without any butt fatigue. I'm not a racer, and don't watch every gram I put on my bikes. What I do is enjoy all types of riding. Saddle comfort is a very important part of enjoying a ride.

I love this saddle, especially for mountain biking. I have purchased a few of these. WTB seats are generally great, but this one is especially comfortable and relatively reasonably priced.

Bike Seat Review, July 15, 2012 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: WTB Speed V ProGel Saddle (Sports) Purchased this saddle under the recommendation of a good friend who has done 4 Ironman events. Prior to the purchase I tried a couple of other more expensive saddles, but the Speed V was as good a fit for me if not better than the higher priced ones. I use the saddle on my Tri bike and it is as comfortable as any seat can be on loooong rides (80+ miles). I am 5'6, 165lbs and fairly flexible (important for the type of seat you purchase). All that said, bike seats are a very individual item and I recommend trying as many as you can before purchasing.
