great bargain; gets the job done, November 29, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Avenir Women's 100 Series ROAD Saddle (Sports) I am new to cycling and am quickly discovering what an expensive sport it can be. I bought a used road cycle that had a terrible saddle. One of my first priorities was to get a new saddle without spending too much money. I'd say the price was probably the biggest influence on my decision to purchase this Avenir women's saddle. I have not been disappointed. Perhaps I don't know any better. Maybe one day if I buy a Fizik saddle, I will laugh at the days that I rode around on this. This saddle is comfortable with a good amount of cushion, without being bulky. As an added bonus, it looks stylish. The cover seems to be durable. I have put over 100 miles on this seat and so far I am satisfied. I started out riding with a pair of Canari gel undershorts and have recently bought a pair of Pearl Izumi padded shorts. Pairing the shorts with the seat, I am a happy camper. If you want a good saddle for not a lot of money, I would recommend this one from Avenir.
